Fraser Cove Shopping Centre
The client, IMF Westland from Auckland, engaged Marra Construction in 2004 to build the second stage of the Fraser Cove Shopping Centre to meet continual demand for retail space within the complex.
The complex consisted of 8 separate tenancies and administration areas, extensive site works and car parking.
The construction specifications included concrete floors, precast concrete walls, structural steel portal frames, and low pitch roofs. In addition, extensive overhangs and covered ways were built for weather protection and provided links between tenancies.
The project was built prior to completion date and on budget.
