Golden Sands Primary School

Golden Sands Primary School is located in Papamoa. Marra Construction was engaged to Design and Build 10 classrooms, an administration building, a multi-purpose building and a library resource centre.

This project commenced in January 2010 and was completed in December 2010. With a contract value of $6.5 million, the project was completed on time and to budget.

This project is the first Single Line of Accountability project undertaken by the Ministry of Education and Marra Construction. The confidence in Marra Construction’s ability to successfully manage a design and build project from start to finish is highlighted by our selection for this pilot project by the Ministry of Education.

This project was designed to meet a 5 Star Green rating.
